Das Kuratorium hat im Rahmen der letzten beiden Ausschreibungen im Förderprogramm Allgemeine Projektförderung fünfzehn der bewilligten Projekte für den Innovationspreis nominiert.

How can we create spaces, places and interactions in which listening, dialogue and the search for common ground are actively shaped? Where do we lose courage and how do we gain it? How do anger, fear, intimidation and resistance fit together? How do we deal with this spectrum in socio-cultural projects in the face of a ‘nervous society’ and ‘heated moods’? How can we play a productive role in shaping the many realities we live with and in? Are there ideas for cultural projects in which controversy is understood as a respectful and constructive tool; in which resistance is not only against, but also for the search for common ground?

With this new call for applications for the Sociocultural Innovation Award, the Fonds Soziokultur is looking for projects that deal with constructive settings for conflicts. We are looking for projects that offer spaces and environments for empathy, participation, understanding and open debate - using methods of art and culture.

The aim of the Call ‘Don't be afraid! Shaping conflict and resistance' is to use artistic and cultural means to take the destructive heat and hatred out of conflicts and interactions and to promote respectful dialogue in our society.

The call for applications for the prize is already closed. The award ceremony is expected to take place in autumn 2026.
