As one of six federal cultural funds, our work focuses on providing financial support for temporary plans and projects. The focus is on the active participation of people in culture-making. Through various funding programmes, we pass on funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM) to socio-cultural institutions and initiatives throughout Germany. Applications can be submitted for sociocultural projects, projects by people under 25, organisational development processes and international cooperation with organisations from the UK.

Our funding and the respective programmes are subject to the approval of funding by BKM.
