The self-organised collective PHINK from Berlin has been involved in artistic activism since 2020, particularly on queer and feminist issues. The focus of the collective's work is on the design and realisation of zine workshops and (maga)zines. One such maga(zine) - on the topic of ‘collecting’ - was realised with the support of the Fonds Soziokultur. Through an open call, various FLINTA*s, who often find it difficult to find a platform, were given space to contribute poetry, comics, prints and other formats. The result is a colourful conglomeration of voices, thoughts, words and brushstrokes, an expression of variety and diversity. The funding made it possible to offer the resulting (maga)zine for as little money as possible. PHINK thus pursues the goal of detaching art from consumption and capital and making it accessible to the widest possible readership.

‘... we still live in patriarchal structures in which people beyond the heterosexual and bisexual norm have to experience discrimination. In the fight against these structures, our project enables empowerment, expression and solidarity.’
