‘“Brainfood and its Digestion” sees itself as a democratic contribution that provides two tools for facing an uncertain future: knowledge and creative ability. With these, we wanted to work together to create a tomorrow worth living.’
The project combined knowledge transfer on political issues (brainfood) with joint artistic processing. It provided a space where people could learn about, question and jointly ‘digest’ various social issues. The result was a respectful exchange in which different levels of knowledge were recognised and productively developed. Lectures on various topics were followed by creative engagement over shared meals, writing, painting and building.
A final exhibition provided an insight into the various evenings and presented the artistic results.
