The LATIBUL Centre for Circus and Theatre Education is a retreat and safe space for children and young people, where they can be free and creative. Its 45th anniversary was celebrated on 11 May 2026 with the event ‘AUSSICHTEN. Summit of the Generation of the Future’.
Alongside acrobatics, performances, dance, singing and theatre, the CHARTA FOR YOUNG CULTURE was drawn up. 369 young people developed their demands and visions for the future of art and culture:
The Charter was created in the context of social challenges such as the consequences of the pandemic, global conflicts, climate change, economic uncertainty and social tensions. The young people explored 68 questions through workshops, performances and installations. A digital tool pre-sorted the answers, and a 35-member CHARTA COMMISSION of young people between the ages of 10 and 15 voted on the CHARTA.
It is aimed at artists and cultural practitioners as well as political decision-makers, calling on them to actively promote the perspectives of the younger generation and to give them space for artistic participation.
According to surveys, music, film, dance, theatre, painting/drawing, gaming, cooking, photography, literature and circus are among young people’s favourite art forms. Furthermore, 50% of those surveyed are actively involved in the cultural or artistic sector.
