Offside Berlin creates open cultural and social spaces outside of clubs and promotes access, diversity and participation in urban music culture. The project is aimed at people who are often excluded from the established club scene, and organises open-air events in the form of silent discos at various venues across Berlin.
Musically, the focus is on pop, house, hip-hop and Afrobeats, presented by various Berlin DJs and up-and-coming artists. The project combines social engagement with musical quality and promotes public spaces as inclusive meeting places for everyone. The aim is to create sustainable structures for young artists and to foster an open music culture for everyone in Berlin.
