‘Cultural Bridge has allowed artpark Hoher Berg and Brink! to build a partnership that feels both natural and inspiring. In our first step, we came together through our shared work with colors and dye gardens, exchanging knowledge and learning from each other. This connection led us to the next step—discovering flax together and bringing our traditional, sustainable crafts into dialogue. This exchange has strengthened our bond, sparked new ideas, and opened doors to unexpected possibilities.’
Stefanie Nowoczin, artpark Hoher Berg
A vibrant network centred on flax, linen and sustainable textile issues for the future has emerged between Brink!, artpark Hoher Berg and numerous European partners. With over 800 participants taking part in panels, workshops, talks and field projects, the project gained significant momentum. Combining centuries-old cultural techniques, natural dyeing and experimental open-source high-end spinning machines, Colour Stories brings together traditional knowledge with contemporary art, technology and new ideas for a sustainable future.
