Funding partnerships between the United Kingdom and Germany
Cultural Bridge supports bilateral partnerships between the UK and Germany through collaboration between Arts Council England, Arts Council of Northern Ireland, British Council, Creative Scotland, Fonds Soziokultur, Goethe-Institut London and Wales Arts International / Arts Council of Wales.
This page only provides a brief overview of the funding programme. All complete information on the funding requirements and the application process can be found at cultural-bridge.info.
What is it about?
What is funded?
Cultural Bridge supports partnerships between cultural organisations from Germany and the UK. The funding program is divided into two funding tiers:
How do I apply?
Firstly, read the funding guidance on the Cultural Bridge website carefully. It is always published a few weeks before the next application phase (usually in autumn) and contains all the information you need to submit an application.
The application is submitted via the application portal on the Cultural Bridge website. The link to the portal is only visible during the period in which applications can be submitted.
The partner organisations must submit a joint application. However, two separate budgets must be completed for each application.
Logos
Please mention the Cultural Bridge programme and the Fonds Soziokultur as funding bodies in your public relations work (print and online) and place both logos:
► Download Logo Fonds Soziokultur (png)
► Download Logo Fonds Soziokultur (eps)
and
► Download Logo Cultural Bridge (png)
Please note: The Künstlersozialkasse has come to the conclusion that a ‘highlighted mention’ of a sponsor's logo (for which use in the same size is sufficient) constitutes an advertising service to be remunerated.
solution: The logo of the Fonds Soziokultur must therefore be reproduced smaller than the applicant's logo (preferably a maximum of 50%) and may not exceed 5% of the area visible at a glance.
Previously funded projects
All previously funded partnerships are published on the Cultural Bridge website. Blog posts written by the funded organisations themselves provide insights into how a Cultural Bridge project can work in practice.
