As Fonds Soziokultur, we support special and experimental socio-cultural projects in all artistic disciplines and unusual collaborations throughout Germany. Our aim is to promote access to active participation in the arts and culture for all people in our diverse society. As one of six federal cultural funds, we pass on funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media to socio-cultural institutions and initiatives via various funding programmes. Funding is provided for projects that enable participation and provide innovative impetus for communal, social coexistence and the further development of culture.

Special call for proposals U25: As part of his support for young talent, the Federal Government Commissioner (BKM) is making a one-off contribution of €300,000 available in 2026 for the funding programme U25 – Young Culture Initiatives.
